Other initiatives from la terreta

We are not competing with anyone who stands up for the huerta. These are other ways of doing it, each in its own way:

  • Som Alimentació (València) — Consumer co-operative with a co-operative store of organic, local produce.
  • CrowdFarming (Bétera) — Platform for adopting trees and buying directly from farmers.
  • La Colmena que dice Sí (València) — Network of buying groups that receive orders from local producers at a collection point.
  • De l’Horta a Casa (Alboraia) — Online direct-sales platform for farm produce from the Alboraia huerta.
  • Consell Agrari de València (València) — Municipal body promoting direct sales between farmers and consumers.
  • Tastem L’Horta / Turisme Carraixet — Tourism and food programme around the huerta of the Mancomunitat del Carraixet.
  • Huertos Alboraia (Alboraia) — Urban allotments to rent for growing your own.
  • Che Terreta (El Puig) — Urban allotments to rent.
  • Camí de l’Horta (Godella, Rocafort and Bétera) — Local direct sales with its own farm shop.
  • Per l’Horta (València) — Group defending the land and the Valencian huerta.

They are now also in the Directory, alongside the other huerta services: See associations and cooperatives in the Directory →
