The association

Terra Madura is a private agri-food association of producers, makers, restaurants, local businesses and community, covering l’Horta Nord and València. Una terra madura és una terra justa.

The name

Abya Yala is the name the Guna people give to the American continent, and one many Indigenous peoples have made their own. It means “land in full maturity”: ripe land, terra madura. We have translated it and brought it to the huerta, where people from here and from there now work side by side.

What we want

That those who work the land are paid what their produce is worth, that the huerta is not lost, and that the city knows where its food comes from.

Naves Maduras

We already have a yes for a warehouse in l’Horta Nord. Murals, gatherings and local produce. Doors open soon. Got a warehouse or a space? Let’s talk.

How it is funded

Members’ fees, sharing of Naves Maduras’ common costs and advertising from brands and suppliers in the sector. The association plays no part in sales between its members.

How it is organised

An association, which brings members together and is the public face, and an operating company that runs the day-to-day: Naves Maduras, platform and gatherings. The statutes and accounts will be published on this page once the association is constituted.
